Barcelona is the Gaudi’s city. Six of his works constructed in this metropolis are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including of course Casa Vicens, which was awarded in 2005. It constituted his initial project assigned. A spot where the architect applied all his baggage, using the resources, influences and experiences obtained on other labors developed during his scholar stage.
Here Gaudi expressed his personal belief about a family home as a particular unit where construction elements and diverse styles of ornaments are integrated or combined making impossible to understand one without the other.
